The University of Illinois Springfield will present its 2025 alumni and service awards during the annual Alumni Gala at the Student Union on Feb. 21. The event will recognize four distinguished individuals for their professional achievements, service to the university and contributions to society.

As part of the university’s NorthStar strategic visioning initiative, the University is announcing a Voluntary Separation Plan (UIS-VSP) available for all employees who have an appointment greater than 50% FTE and who have not provided a written notice of resignation or intent to retire from UIS prior to the Plan Effective Date.
