The University of Illinois Springfield men's cross country team delivered a strong performance at the 2024 NCAA Midwest Regional Championship in Romeoville, Ill., securing a 9th-place finish. This result extends the team's streak of top-10 finishes in every regional meet since 2018, underscoring the program's consistent strength in the Midwest region.

The UIS men's soccer team fought to the end in the GLVC quarterfinals but ultimately fell 3-2 in overtime to Maryville on Sunday. In a tightly contested match, the Prairie Stars equalized twice, only to have the game decided by a sudden victory goal from the Saints.

The Illinois Springfield women's cross country team raced at the NCAA DII Midwest Regional Championship on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Lewis Cross Country Course in Romeoville, Ill. The Prairie Stars finished 13th in a tough field of competition, including several top-10 nationally ranked programs and regional powerhouses.
