The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is excited to announce its annual silent auction and benefit, featuring a diverse collection of original art, reproductions, decorative objects and crafts donated by artists and community supporters. This year’s auction will be held both online and in person, making it easy for collectors and supporters across the region to participate.

UIS is a member of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce. RISE Springfield, the young professionals program from the chamber, is planning a Leadership Conference for April 29, 2025 at the Memorial Learning Center. Please consider sharing your knowledge/experience with young professionals within the greater Springfield area. Proposals are due November 11, 2024.

A group of five University of Illinois Springfield students won $10,000 in seed funding for their startup, TredBase, during a pitch competition hosted by Innovate Springfield on Oct. 28. The competition featured three entrepreneurial teams pitching innovative ideas.
