He will begin his role on March 24.Davenport will oversee all development officers and major gifts programs at UIS. Additionally, he will serve as the primary development officer for the College of Business and Management. |

Capitol Connections Day - Seeking Nominations for Undergraduate Students

UIS Faculty and Staff: UIS and the Center for State Policy and Leadership (CSPL) have been invited to partner in the Inaugural Edgar Fellows Capitol Connections Day. The inaugural Capitol Connections Day for undergraduate college students interested in careers in public service will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, with morning sessions at the Illinois State Capitol and lunch and afternoon sessions at the Governor’s Mansion. An optional tour of the Executive Mansion may be available at the end of the day. |

Take Your Child to Work Day

Human Resources presents the third annual Take Your Child to Work Day on April 24, 2025. We have a fun-filled day planned that includes a dorm tour, a slime activity, and a tour of the E-Sports Arena. We welcome up to 20 kids, aged 10-15 years old (7-9 years old with a parent present), to come and join us for the afternoon. To participate, register your child(ren) today! |
