Loki Davis of Springfield awarded a $16,000 scholarship from the University of Illinois Springfield

Loki Davis of Springfield, a 2021 graduate of Lanphier High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for Fall Semester 2022 and awarded a $16,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, she will major in psychology. The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements. At Lanphier High School, she was a member of the drama club, paranormal club and the National Honor Society. |
UIS Visual Arts senior group exhibition “OVER/LOOK” considers the past and looks to the future

The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery presents “OVER/LOOK,” a mixed media exhibition of works by graduating seniors from the UIS Visual Arts Department. “OVER/LOOK” will open on Monday, April 25 and run through Thursday, May 12. A reception will be held in the UIS Visual Arts Gallery from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, April 28. This event is free and open to the public. |
