The School of Health Sciences prepares students for healthcare careers by engaging students in the classroom and providing hands-on experience in real world settings.

We emphasize excellence in teaching and exceptional clinical practice. We accomplish this by incorporating unique programmatic and educational diversity to the Baccalaureate of Science programs in Medical Laboratory Science or Exercise Science and the Master of Athletic Training program.

Our mission is to create sophisticated, critically thinking professionals who are capable of competing in the diverse, interdependent, and rapidly changing healthcare environment. Emphasis on the importance of leadership, community/professional service and engagement, and lifelong learning will be achieved through a multitude of educational experiences such as online coursework, clinical education, internships, and/or technology-enhanced instruction.
